The custom made Tie-Tac is in the design of a jewelers loupe. It does not have a gold mark but was tested with nitric acid and a "kee" tester to be 14k solid yellow gold. Without the catch it weighs 2.9 grams. Closed, it is 1/2" long. Open, it is 3/4" long. Set in the piece is a 4.5 mm cubic zirconia. This would make a wonderful gift.
