The Hessonite garnet is a rare stone to get. It is set in a 14k solid gold ring that weighs 8.2 grams. The garnet is cushion cut and measures 11 mm x 10 mm x 6.7 mm which makes it approx 7.19 cts. To the right and left of the garnet are a total of 6 baguette cut natural diamonds with an approx total weight of .45 cts. To the top and bottom of the garnet are 14 round brilliant cut natural diamonds with an approx total weight of .42 cts.  The diamonds range from H to I in color and SI1 TO SI3. This puts the total stone weight of the ring at around 8.06 cts. The ring wears to a size 6.5 and can be resized.
