The cameo brooch was made in the 1800s. The multi figural cameo is hand carved from a one piece shell with no cracks or chips. It is rectangle in shape and measures 2 3/8" x 11/16". The frame was tested with nitric acid and a "kee" tester to be 10k solid yellow gold.
