This piece has museum quality. It is from the Victorian Era and Made around the 1880s. The locket does not have a gold mark but was tested with nitric acid and a "kee" tester to be 14k solid yellow gold. It weighs 22.8 grams. It measures 2 1/4" x 1 1/4". The fine enamel work shows a woman with a fan in hand . Set at the top in the hair area are two small natural pearls and a rose cut diamond. There is no damage or scratches on the enamel. The glass back opens up to be a loclet. The loop at the top can accommodate up to a 5 mm chain. This piece is in wonderful condition. The two side pictures were taken to stop the light shinning on the piece.
