The ring does not have a metal mark but was tested with platinum acid and a "kee" tester to be solid platinum. It weighs 4.7 grams. Set around the ring are 20 princess cut natural diamonds with an approx total weight of 2.00 cts. They range from SI1 TO SI3 and H to I in color. The ring is 4 mm thick. It does have some work repair on the inside and the platinum could use a polish. Ring wears to a size 5 and cannot be resized.
