The whale bone carved scrimshaw piece can be worn as a pin or pendant. It is marked sterling and has the makers initials AKR. The piece measures 4 1/4" x 1 1/8" The carving has several turtle designs.  It weighs 42.0 grams and the loop can accommodate up to a 6.0 mm chain. The scrimshaw is in nice condition.
