The cameo ring does not have a gold mark but was tested to be 10k solid yellow gold by using nitric acid and a "kee" tester. It weighs 2.1 grams and at the top it measures 1/2" from North to South. The hand carved one piece shell cameo is oval in shape and has a woman facing to the right.
