The pendant is marked 14k and is solid yellow gold. It weighs 3.6 grams and with the bale measures 1" x 3/8". Set in the pendant is a pear shape red natural garnet with an approx weight of 4.5 cts. The garnet measures 14 mm x 10 mm . The loop at the top can accommodate up to a 4 mm chain. The sides of the bale have wonderful workmanship.
